Derived from the word quiescence—a state of stillness or rest before a period of change—Teaescence is a Black woman-owned, transformative, whole-person lifestyle tea brand first introduced in 2021 during the peak of the pandemic, and born in the quiet in-between of who I was and who I was becoming.

After walking away from my career as a therapist and navigating a complete life reset—channeled by seasons of grief, growth, and everything in between—I found myself craving ritual, softness, and something that felt like home. Tea gave me that.

What began as a side project rooted in survival has become a sacred space for restoration. I now curate unique loose-leaf blends and elevated tea experiences that promote holistic well-being and foster connection—with yourself, with others, and with the world around you.

After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, Teaescence re-emerges deeply rooted in the rediscovery and modernization of tea culture—not just as a beverage, but as a gateway into intentional living, healing, and presence.

Every blend is crafted to serve a function—a way to support your rhythm, your body, your becoming.
