Potentially Asked Questions.

For those who are new here, and those who are true here.

What’s new at Teaescence?

In honor of a softer life, things are simpler now—more focused blends, packaging, and no extra stuff.

What’s gone:
Sugar cubes + sweeteners: Delicious, yes—but time-consuming. I wanted something more natural and I’d rather you choose what to add, if anything.
Tea bags + infusers: I like letting the herbs move how they want and how you want. Choosing how you take your tea is like picking your favorite mug— personal and just right.

What’s different about the packaging?

What happens after you’ve finished your blends matters. The tea tins and plastic? Also gone. Now, each blend comes in a recyclable paper tube—lightweight, low-waste, and easy to reuse or recycle. Adaptive and aesthetic— simple, thoughtful, and real classy.

How do I brew it?

There’s no one right way and it depends on the blend BUT (generally speaking): I love using an infuser pot for blends I will resteep and a single-cup infuser for those I don’t. French press is great for blends brewed cold.

As a guide:
Herbal: 5–7 min
Green: 2–3 min (cooler water helps)
Black: 3–5 min
Oolong: 3–6 min
1–2 teaspoons or tablespoons per 8oz cup.

Let the herbs cook. Let the water do its thing. Everything is edible.

How long is it fresh?

If you have any of the former blends, treat yourself to some new ones. Best within 3–4 months. Still good up to 6 if stored cool, dry, and sealed.

How are prices set?

Pricing is based on the quality of herbs, how much each blend yields, and how many times you can resteep it.
Some blends are more premium because they use rare, delicate, or high-potency ingredients. Others are simpler by design — and more accessible.
It’s all balanced with intention.
